1. Open the screen separator and adjust the temperature to 72℃.

2. Preheat the backlight panel for 30 seconds. Put the screen onto the separator. Get prepared after the backlight 
panel has heated up.

3. Pry the right side of the backlight panel next to the home button. Cut off the sealant with a nipper and pull out the 
sealant. Alternatively, tear down the frame first before cutting off and pulling out the sealant. Lastly remove the whole 
backlight panel. 

Attention: The above steps apply to the screen with longer usage time, which reduces the chance to damage the 
screen plate.
